Mykola Tomenko, Deputy Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, appealed to Viktor Yanukovych, President of Ukraine, concerning the situation with the state-owned enterprise "Olympic Training Sports Center."
M.Tomenko stated that numerous appeals of the personnel of the center conveyed their worry about the methods of restructuring of the sports enterprise, which might lead to its exclusion from the facilities not subject to privatization, and deprival of the status of an Olympic base.
The Deputy Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appealed to the President of Ukraine with a request to study the situation with the state-owned enterprise "Olympic Training Sports Center", support preservation of this world-known sports complex as an Olympic and Paralympic base, and prevent any change of its special legal treatment as the object not subject to privatization.
